Requests to Reprint JJS Articles
For information on how to obtain single copies of individual JJS
articles, please see our Frequently
Asked Questions page.
All requests to reprint material
from The Journal of Japanese Studies should be addressed in writing
or via email to the Managing Editor at the address below.
Permission to reprint JJS articles for classroom use is
usually granted free of charge. Requests should indicate the university,
course name and number, instructor's name, estimated enrollment, as well
as the title and author of the article.
Requests to reprint JJS
articles for other purposes (such as republication in another work) should
include the editor, title, and publisher of that work, estimated
publication date, expected press run, and the percentage of the work the
JJS material will make up.
Abstracts from the Journal may be found
in various electronic databases (including our own
Table of Contents
pages), but in order to preserve copyright and to protect the rights and
works of our authors, permission is not given for electronic distribution
of any other JJS material.
