The Journal of Japanese Studies
is published twice a year, Winter and Summer,
by the Society for Japanese Studies. Its ISSN is 00956848. The
Journal is available in Project Muse®,
the online collection of full-text scholarly journals in the humanities
and social sciences. Its content is also accessible on
JSTOR, with
the exception of the most recent five years.

Air mail rates: Subscribers wishing to
receive faster delivery of the Journal may request air mail service for
$23 per year (subject to change). This surcharge is in addition to the
regular subscription rates for foreign orders.
Back issues:
Most of our back issues are currently available from JJS. The price
(as long as inventory lasts) is $2 per issue for
shipment to addresses in the United States; international orders are $4.50
per issue. Payment must be made by cash or check; international
orders may be paid by credit card for $5.00 per issue. Out-of-print
