Absorption Page

This page serves as a stepping stone to different links containing published abstracts and/or images from dermal absorption studies which we have conducted. The first link proceeds to an abstract of a paper we published describing a fugacity-based model of dermal absorption as applied to 2,3,7,8-tetracholorodibenzo-p-dioxin in soil.

The second link leads to laboratory-based experiments that used an in vitro evaporation/penetration apparatus and human cadaver skin to evaluate the effect of soil loading on the dermal uptake of soil-bound contaminants (lindane and 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid).
