Story Time with Jumpstart

January 12, February 9, or March 8 at the Douglass-Truth Library from 1-1:30pm

Starting January, Jumpstart will be hosting a monthly story time that consists of a large group reading and art activity free to local families and their preschoolers. We are looking for approximately 4-5 volunteers for each of the dates above to help implement the activity.

United Way/MLK Day of Service

January 16th at Cecilia Williams Bryant Center from 10am-2pm

Participating with United Way of King County in celebrating MLK Day of Service, Jumpstart is hosting a cleaning project at one of our preschool partner sites. We are looking for 6-12 volunteers to help participate in cleaning the outer building walls, groundwork, and other needed tasks. For this particular activity, volunteers can sign up starting November 8th through the United Way website: http://www.uwkc.org/ways-to-volunteer/mlkday/
