Related Activities
- Working a political consultant for federal, state, and city elections between 1992 and 1997, I collected and analyzed voter information data from voting officials in jurisdictions across the nation.
- As Director of Institutional Research and Chair of the Committee on Student Data Quality and Management, I conduct quality control studies of all non-financial university data and conduct analyses and evaluations of the full university database.
- As a Senior Researcher at the Vera Institute of Justice, I conducted three studies of community engagement and the New York City public school system. A separate project required the review, analysis, and summary of victims’ rights legislation and regulations in all 50 states.
- I have directed large scale survey research on legal matters, as a Senior Research Associate at the Vera Institute. As a program Director at the Institute for Public Policy I have also conducted a broad array of statewide surveys. During my tenure as Director of Institutional Research I have helped develop a survey based educational evaluation project and continue to oversee survey research projects.
- As a Fulbright Scholar in 1993-1995 I studied the role of deliberation and debate in state sponsored organizations and its impact on political engagement.
