Vicki has 19 years of elementary principal experience at 3 schools in the Seattle School District: Highland Park, Kimball, and Sanislo. After retirement from the principalship she worked as an educational consultant for 10 years, including 6 years in a middle school literacy project focused on the improvement of instruction. Her consulting included mentoring new principals and supporting principals and leadership teams in the development of school improvement plans. Vicki’s consulting also included work as a site developer with ATLAS Learning Communities, a nationally recognized organization comprehensive school reform in K-12 schools. In addition to positions of school leadership Vicki has experience as a Special Education Program Supervisor, a school psychologist, and an administrative assistant with Special Services at the Puget Sound ESD working with rural and remote school districts. She began her career as an elementary teacher for grades 4, 5, and 6.
