Dr. Plecki's research and teaching expertise includes: school finance, the economics of education, education policy evaluation, and the allocation of resources for school improvement. Dr. Plecki is a principal investigator for a multi-year research effort examining the quality of the teacher workforce in Washington state. She currently serves as President of the American Education Finance Association.
