The aims of this study are:
1. To compare the sensitivity and specificity of Pap smear to VIA among 500 HIV-positive women receiving care at an HIV treatment clinic in Kenya.
2. To evaluate the HIV RNA levels in plasma and cervicovaginal lavage in a subset of HIV-positive women at baseline, 2 and 4 weeks after receiving cryotherapy treatment of the cervix.
