Mike mostly speaks in Tsek'ene on these recordings but occaisionally uses a English word or phrase. To increase the pedagogical value of these texts, the English in the transcribed text has been translated into Tsek'ene by Mary Charlie, Eileen McCook or Nellie Charlie. On the recording, however, the listener will hear Mike's voice only.
