Negotiations on Equal Employment, August 5, 1964

A letter from representatives of CORE, the NAACP, and other representatives from Seattle's civil rights movement notifying businesses of their intentions to combat employment discrimination, and requesting that businesses change their practices immediately. As the letter states, if negotiations failed, CORE and their allies turned to direct action tactics.
