Fair Housing Listing Service, Fall 1963

The Fair Housing Listing Service was formed by numerous civil rights organizations in Seattle as a free service that referred prospected home owners to houses in all neighborhoods, attempting to bypass realtors who would not show homes to African-Americans, Jews, or other minority groups.
