Platelet Aggregation Studies [PLTAG]
Methodology: Whole blood platelet aggregometry
Abnormal Aggregation responses may occur if the patient has taken aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents or other platelet inhibiting medications within 10 days prior to testing. If the patient's platelet count is below 100,000/uL the patient may have a reduced or absent aggregation to ADP and decreased response with other agonists.
