Thrombin time [TT]

Methodology: Stago STA clotting assay

·        Do not test samples that may have been contaminated by heparin (drawn from heparinized lines, heparin in collection tubes, syringes, etc).

  • Patients on hirudin (Refludan), argatroban (Novastatan) or bivalirudin (Angiomax) may show interference due to direct thrombin inhibition.
