The 2013 SPRING CELEBRATION OF SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP a HUGE SUCCESS!

Spring Cele 2013On Tuesday, May 7, 2013 over a 100 students and 200 guests participated in the Spring Celebration of Service and Leadership in the Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center on the University of Washington, Seattle campus. The Spring Celebration of Service and Leadership is a yearly event that allows students to showcase their work and learning related to service and leadership experiences.

SL Evaluation Cover Service-Learning Evaluation Report for 2011-2012 (PDF)

In 2011-2012, the Carlson Center supported 96 service-learning courses across a variety of academic areas, placing 2,933 undergraduate students in volunteer positions with hundreds of non-profit organizations, providing approximately 58,660 hours of service toward a variety of needs in the local community.
