The Spring Celebration is co-hosted by the Carlson Leadership & Public Service Center, Jumpstart, the Pipeline Project, and the Mary Gates Endowment for Students.

Students involved in service-learning, including through the Pipeline Project or Jumpstart, are recognized for their work in connecting academic work with community commitment. Students in Service AmeriCorps members, and Civic Fellows, including Carlson Fellows, Ellis Fellows, and Munro Fellows, are recognized for their work. Mary Gates Leadership Scholars and the recipient of the Edward E. Carlson Student Leadership Award are honored. In addition, students involved in UW Leaders and other campus leadership work and student activities all participate in the Spring Celebration.

The 2009 Spring Celebration will feature a Gallery of Student Projects, panel discussions and a reception.
