This program hosts a rotating series of CEO Speakers.  Each speaker addresses School of Business undergraduate students and alumni through a 45-minute keynote address that is followed by a 45-minute interactive session.

Specifically, by the end of each session, students will:

  • Gain an executive perspective on key leadership and business issues;
  • Connect with CEOs on a deeper level in small group settings;
  • Ask pertinent questions about the topic presented and receive insightful responses from a CEO;
  • Participate in a hands-on learning activity or business case to apply their knowledge.

 

Program Description

Leadership Lessons  brings leading CEOs to campus for individual and substantial presentations on core issues in leadership and business. Topics rotate quarterly and annually as issues and business concerns emerge. Sample programs may include such topics as: Building a Company Culture; Navigating Business with Logic; Creating a Performance-Driven Organization; Overcoming Adversity; Leading with Integrity, etc.

 

Target Audiences

Focus is on School of Business undergraduates. All School of Business alumni are invited. All University of Washington Bothell undergraduate students are invited.

 

Structure

  • Each talk is a single session.
  • Three sessions are offered annually, e.g. once in Winter, Spring, and Summer Quarters.
  • Students may register for one session or enroll in all three.

 

Prerequisites

Must be a dedicated University of  Washington Bothell undergraduate student or alumni interested in leadership development.
