Responsibilities: Dr. Richard Folsom is the Discipline Leader for Audiology. He supervises audiology fellows and determines policy for audiology services. He participates in interdisciplinary training through clinical training and as a presenter and discussant in the core seminar series. He is an experienced independent investigator and is a crucial member of the task force developing a plan for universal newborn hearing screening in the State of Washington. He is also Professor and Head of Audiology in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences and a Research Affiliate at the Virginia Merrill Bloedel Hearing Research Center.
Responsibilities: Lisa Mancl is the primary pediatric audiologist at CHDD. She supervises audiology fellows who receive all of their pediatric audiology training at CHDD. She provides interdisciplinary training through core seminars and clinical training and related core clinical services.
