Responsibilities: Amy Carlsen is the UW LEND Family Leadership Discipline Leader. Amy represents the LEND program on the AUCD Family Discipline Workgroup. Amy brings great expertise as both a parent of a child with special needs and a nurse with many years of clinical experience. She has a passion and gift for helping families and health care professionals understand and communicate effectively with each other. Amy is available to family fellows for mentoring as well as to other discipline fellows for family-related information and resources.

Responsibilities: Sue Adelman is a UW LEND Family Leadership Discipline faculty member. Sue co-directs the Families as Mentors program with Megan Goldenstein, working to educate new fellows in family centered care. Sue's professional background as an occupational therapist and personal experience as a parent of a young adult with a developmental disability brings perspective to this position. Sue is available to family fellows for mentoring as well as to other discipline fellows for family-related information and resources.
