Beth Ogata  

Beth Ogata, MS, RDN, CD
Discipline Leader


Responsibilities: Beth Ogata is the Discipline Lead in the Nutrition Department. She supervises nutrition fellows in the Cristine M. Trahms Program for Phenylketonuria (PKU) Clinic and Biochemical Genetics and also in the Infant Development Follow-up Clinic. She teaches NUTR 526 (Maternal, Infant, and Pediatric Nutrition) and is a guest lecturer for several other Nutritional Sciences courses. Beth has worked on a number of distance learning projects and has developed several self-study, web-based curricula, including "Nutrition for CSHCN," "Nutrition & Oral Health For Children," and "First Steps Nutrition Modules." She is involved with Assuring Pediatric Nutrition in the Community as co-chair of the annual conference and as a consultant.

Sharon Feucht  

Sharon Feucht, MA, RDN, CD

Responsibilities: Sharon Feucht supervises nutrition fellows in the LEND curriculum and her clinical responsibilities include Child Development Clinic, Infant Development Follow-up Clinic and Late and Moderate Pre-term Babies (LAMBs) Follow-up Clinic. She is the Project Director of the Nutrition Services for Children with Special Health Care Needs contract from the state Title V agency, providing training for the CSHCN Nutrition Network and Community Feeding Teams. She is the editor of Nutrition Focus Newsletter for Children with Special Health Care Needs. She also supervises nutrition fellows at Holly Ridge Center.

Sharon Feucht  

Janie Heffernan, MS, RDN, CD

Responsibilities: Janie Heffernan is a Nutritionist with the UW Phenylketonuria (PKU) Clinic. She coordinates the nutrition education curriculum for children with PKU, as well as supervises nutrition fellows in the PKU Clinic.

Mari Obara  

Mari Mazon, MS, RDN, CD

Responsibilities: Mari Mazon supervises fellows in the Child Development Clinic and Kindering Center. She provides assistance on the Nutrition Services for Children with Special Health Care Needs contract from the state Title V agency. She also serves as Nutrition Faculty on the Pediatric Pulmonary Center grant.
