UW LEND trainees are highly encouraged to participate in research activities. Trainees may embark on their own research projects with mentorship from UW LEND faculty or they may participate in ongoing research projects being conducted by UW LEND faculty. To learn more about ongoing research:

• Discuss research opportunities with your faculty mentor
• Discuss research opportunities with other UW LEND faculty
• Review research activities being conducted at the CHDD's Eunice Kennedy Shriver Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center. The CHDD has established 12 research emphasis areas (REAs).
