Welcome UW LEND Trainee. The navigation buttons on the left provide you with information, tools, and resources to assist your completion of the training requirements.

Requirements

As a trainee enrolled in the UW LEND Program you are required to complete a minimum of 300 hours or more of didactic, advanced clinical, and interdisciplinary leadership training. As a UW LEND trainee, you will:

• Identify a faculty mentor and meet with your mentor on a regular basis
• Participate in the UW LEND Orientation
• Complete the UW LEND trainee Registration Steps (within the first month of traineeship)
• Complete an Individual Leadership Training Plan (ILTP)
• Attend Seminars
• Participate in Clinical Training
• Participate in Leadership Activities
• Complete and present a Leadership Project
• Complete an UCEDD Trainee Exit Form upon completion of the UW LEND program

• Connect and collaborate with trainees across the state through the AUCD Virtual Trainee.
• Discuss issues related to LEND training by joining the AUCD Trainee Listserve.
• Join the group "AUCD Trainees" to find other trainees with common interests, share your profile, view interesting links, etc. on Facebook.
