As a UW LEND Trainee you are required to complete 300 hours or more of didactic, clinical and leadership training.
The mission of the Maternal and Child Health Bureau is to improve the health of America’s mothers, children and families to assure that they are heathy, thriving and reaching their fullest potential. One avenue toward achieving this mission is preparing and empowering the next generation of interdisciplinary leaders in maternal and child health, which includes funding workforce development grants such as LEND programs.

The Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) is a membership organization that supports the national network of university-based interdisciplinary programs. LEND programs throughout the United States have access to AUCD sponsored programs and resources.
