Sean passes his general exam

Congratulations to Sean Fischer for passing his third-year general examination. Sean presented his work on Surface Hopping with Excited Ehrenfest Potential, more affectionately known as SHEEP. Sean is now a doctoral candidate and is free from worrying about exams until he defends his dissertation in a couple of years.

Ryan McMorris, an undergraduate researcher, joins the group

The Li group welcomes Ryan McMorris, an undergraduate at the University of Washington, to the group. Ryan is in his sophomore year at the UW working on his Bachelors degree in chemical engineering. He will be looking at the effects of nitrogen doping in Mn2+-doped ZnO quantum dots.

Chris and Jiao graduate with B.S. degrees in Chemistry

Chris Poon and Jiao Ma, both undergraduate researchers in the group, graduated this Spring quarter with their Bachelors of Science in Chemistry.
