Alessio visited the group as a graduate student over the winter. After stopping back in Naples just long enough to grab a Ph.D., he’s back as a postdoc. He’ll be continuing his work here on solvation and molecular dynamics.

The Li group welcomes Alessio Petrone, a third-year Ph.D. student at the University of Napoli “Federico II”, from Naples, Italy. Alessio will be with the group through January working on new developments for post-SCF methods.

The Li group welcomes Ryan McMorris, an undergraduate at the University of Washington, to the group. Ryan is in his sophomore year at the UW working on his Bachelors degree in chemical engineering. He will be looking at the effects of nitrogen doping in Mn2+-doped ZnO quantum dots.
