UW Breath of Life* 2005 PACIFIC NORTHWEST NATIVE LANGUAGES ARCHIVES WORKSHOP University of Washington, Department of Linguistics A workshop on using the University of Washington language archives to assist your indigenous language revitalization efforts September 12-16, 2005 Suzzallo Library, University of Washington, Seattle, WA Daily schedule: 8:30-12:00: Learn Linguistics basics to aid your archival work. 1:00-4:00: With assistance from linguists, explore the material on your language that is stored in University of Washington archives; prepare an individual or small group project. Evenings: prepare your project. Cost: There is no fee for the workshop. Participation is limited to the first 30 registrants. Housing: You may choose to stay at a UW dorm; estimated UW housing expenses for the week are $216 per person double occupancy and $288 single. This includes 4 nights lodging plus $70 on a meal ticket. Please call UW Conference Services at 206-542-7634. Ask for the "UW Breath of Life 2005" housing package.
