Jeff Stevens
Mr. Stevens was awarded a 2003-2004 FLAS fellowship to study Uzbek.
Chia-Hui Huang
The Excellence in Teaching Award is the most prestigious teaching award given to graduate students
at the university. Only two of these awards are presented at the university each year, awarded at the
same time as the faculty Distinguished Teaching Award. Ms. Huang is well deserving of this honor,
consistently achieving top evaluations for her teaching, showing both outstanding knowledge of her subject
and great facility in the classroom.
Susannah Levi
Ms. Levi has been named as recipient of a Chester William Fritz Endowed Scholarship in the
Humanities for the 2003-2003 academic year. This significant award honors the quality of her
scholarship.
