Leadership Lesson

This program hosts a rotating series of CEO Speakers from a variety of backgrounds, organizational cultures and businesses.  Each speaker addresses undergraduate students and alumni through a 45-minute keynote that is followed by Q&A and discussion.

Specifically, by the end of each Leadership Lesson, students will:

  • Gain an executive perspective on key leadership and business issues
  • Connect personally with CEOs on a deeper level in small group settings
  • Ask pertinent questions about the topic presented and receive insightful responses from the CEO
  • Participate actively in the discussion to apply their knowledge 
  • Network with other UWB undergraduates students interested in leadership development
  • Expand your career and internship connections.


Program Description

Leadership Lessons brings premier CEOs to campus for individual and substantial presentations on core issues in leadership and business. Topics rotate quarterly and annually as issues and business concerns emerge. Sample programs may include such topics as: Valuing People; Building a Company Culture; Navigating Business with Logic; Creating a Performance-Driven Organization; Overcoming Adversity; Leading with Integrity; Solving Humanity’s Grandest Challenges, etc.


Target Audiences

Focus is on School of Business undergraduates and the program is open to all UWB undergraduates. All undergraduate alumni are invited.



  • Each talk is a single session
  • Six sessions are offered annually
  • Students may register in one session or all



Must be paid in exact cash or check.
