CEO and President of Food Lifeline
Linda Nageotte is President & CEO of Food Lifeline, the largest hunger relief organization in Washington State. She grew up in Oklahoma, received her BA from the University of Oklahoma and went on to Washington State University for graduate study.
After working for several years in university student affairs, Linda entered the non-profit arena in 1991. She spent two years as the executive director of the YWCA of the Palouse in Moscow, Idaho, and in 1994 she became the executive director of Rotary First Harvest. She joined Food Lifeline in 1998.
Linda especially enjoys new program development, work with Boards of Directors and staff development. She has served on several national and regional hunger-relief boards, councils, advisory committees and task forces. Linda was previously named as one of Seattle’s “40 Under 40”, was awarded Executive Director of the Year by Feeding America in 2010 and named John Van Hengel Fellow in 2012.
Linda is proud to currently serve on the board of directors of Feeding Washington, the national advisory council of Catalyst Kitchens, the Feeding America National Council, and the Puget Sound Regional Food Policy Council.
