Senior Vice President, Northwest Region of Costco
Ron started at Price Club’s second location in Phoenix, AZ in 1982. He worked part-time while going to school at Glendale Community College where he majored in Business. He was a clerk in Receiving, using a marking gun to apply item numbers to incoming merchandise, which at the time, did not have UPC codes. In 1989, he was promoted to Price Club’s first Colorado location in Westminster as an Assistant General Manager. In 1991, Ron became the General Manager of the Southwest Denver location.
n late 1993, at the time Price Club and Costco were merging, Ron was asked to help open new buildings back in his home state of Arizona. He worked as General Manager of several Arizona warehouses, and he was promoted to Vice President, Regional Operations Manager in the San Diego region in 1999. In April of 2010, Ron was promoted to Senior Vice President of the Northwest Region.
Ron and his wife Kim have three children: a son who attends Northern Arizona State University and plays on the Ice Jacks hockey team; a son who is pursuing photojournalism at Brooks Institute; and a daughter who plays Lacrosse on her high school team.
