NWALL
is a professional, non-profit association of lab/center directors and staff, researchers, students and language faculty from diverse educational institutions and facilities throughout the great American Northwest. NWALL is dedicated to the effective and beneficial application of technology in language learning, teaching, and research. Through NWALL, members exchange ideas, experiences and opinions with a wide range of fellow professionals. Additionally, NWALL keeps abreast of the latest pedagogical and instructional resources available in the exciting and rapidly changing world of modern media and technology.
NWALL is the regional chapter of IALL (the International Association for Language Learning Technology). Established in 1965, IALL is a professional organization dedicated to promoting effective uses of media centers for language teaching, learning, and research. IALL's membership represents hundreds of institutions of varying sizes and educational levels throughout the world.
