Online Language Resources

The LLC Online Language Resources consist of online audio, video, multimedia, and courseware. Some of these resources require free, downloadable plug-ins to be installed on your computer. The use of most resources is restricted to current students, faculty, and staff of the University of Washington (anyone with a UWNet ID).

Audio files usually play fine with a 56k modem or faster, so your connection speed likely not going to be a problem. Video files are intended to be viewed on UW wired ethernet networks (the LLC, other wired campus labs, offices, dorms). While videos may play over cable or DSL service, or even wireless in some cases, the LLC cannot promise playback or uninterrupted playback. The LLC is, however, committed to your sucessful access to the media files, and we ask that you first run through the troubleshooting guide first if you encounter a problem, and then email the LLC with the requested details listed on that page if you still are having problems.
