Getting Started

If you do not see the above line correctly in Uygur (which you will not unless you have installed the Uygur Unicode Font) then you will need to follow the directions below:

Download the Font here

For Windows:
  1. After downloading the font go to: Start/My Computer/Local Disk/Windows/Fonts.
  2. Drag and drop the Uygur font, UyTuzUni.TTF, into your Fonts folder.
    • Note: you may need to refresh your broswer or even restart your computer for the change to take effect.
For Mac:
  1. After downloading the font, double click on UyTuzUni.TTF.
  2. This will open up the Fontbook application, click the install button.
Download the Keyboard here

For Windows:
  1. After downloading the keyboard application, run the setup.exe file.
  2. To enable the Uygur keyboard: go to your language bar and select Urdu.
