Position: Clinical Research Investigator Fellowship

Duration: 1 to 2 years

Starting July 1, 2007

Qualifications: MD, MD PhD, or DO

Candidates should have completed residency training or be enrolled in a residency program that allows time off for research training.

Position Description:

Full time clinical research investigator training in translational proteomics to identify biomarkers of platelet activation relevant to hemostasis, thrombosis, and drug resistance. Activities include clinical study design, preparing platelet samples for mass spectrometry, performing SELDI-TOF (surface enhanced laser desorption ionization- time of flight) mass spectrometry, data analysis, manuscript preparation, graduate course work as indicated.
