Academic Clinical Chemistry Position

The Department of Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh is accepting applications for an academic position in the Division of Clinical Chemistry. The position will include appointment in the Department of Pathology, School of Medicine as Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level, depending on qualifications. The candidate must have an M.D. and/or a Ph.D. degree with appropriate board certification/eligibility; experience in a large hospital-based service is required. Applicants will be encouraged to engage in academic pursuits; those with active academic programs are particularly encouraged to apply. Clinical responsibilities will include participating in a large integrated multi-hospital clinical chemistry service; medical directorship is available if appropriate to experience. Other duties will include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical pathology and biochemical pathology. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania is required
