The Laboratory for Usability Testing and Evaluation (LUTE) is committed to the following mission:
- Building the scientific infrastructure for the field of usability engineering
- Supporting usability and user-centered design education at the University of Washington and in the Seattle-Metro area
- Working with corporate partners to advance usability and user-centered design and evaluation methods
