ARV Hepatic Dose Adjustments

Many antiretroviral drugs are metabolized via the liver and Cytochrome P450 enzyme system. Hepatic insufficiency may lead to alterations in antiretroviral pharmacokinetics and more specifically, elevation in plasma levels, which may increase adverse events.
