Post Expsoure Prophylaxis - Lab Monitoring

Note: For management of specific exposures please see the PEP sections for “Occupational” and “Non-occupational” exposures in the Guideline section. For more details about the PEP protocol, please see the “PEP protocol” in the protocol section.

I. Occupational Exposures

a) Non-HMC Employee Occupational Exposures:

	Baseline	2 weeks	6 weeks	12 weeks	24 weeks

* If source is known to be HBV or HCV negative, follow-up HBV and/or HCV serologies need not be drawn.

b) HMC-Employee Occupational Exposures**:

All Patients on ARVs		CBC, CMP

** All HMC employees should receive the identical lab monitoring as non-HMC employees, but the lab testing other than the 2 weeks toxicity labs will be drawn through employee health (or the ER).

II. Non-occupational Exposures

a) Sexual Exposures:
