REHEARSAL: Thursday, June 9th, 1:00 p.m., Husky Stadium, Don James Center

COMMENCEMENT:  Saturday, June 11th.  Marshals should be in place by 12:30 p.m.
COLLEGE MARSHAL (SE)

Please click on the links below to view your instructions. You will need PowerPoint to view your "Instructions & Diagrams." We suggest that you print them and bring them with you to the rehearsal and on commencement day.  If you have any difficulties please contact our office at marshals@u.washington.edu.  Each marshal group has a team captain that will be available at the rehearsal to answer questions regarding these instructions. Your team captain is Gary Ausman, Lead Lining Up Marshal SE.

NOTE: Due to construction in and around the stadium, all marshals, after checking in at the Conibear Shellhouse, will proceed to the Dempsey Indoor Practice Facility (use the faculty entrance). Those needing to continue on to the SE lining up area (Outdoor Practice Field), the stage, or the stadium floor, may then exit Dempsey through the south door and walk between the softball field and the stadium over to their assigned positions. The following items will be mailed to you:

To do on Commencement Day:

  • Wear your academic apparel or change in the Conibear Shellhouse.
  • Bring ID for gaining entrance to the stadium or lining up areas.
  • College Marshals are requested to check in at the Conibear Shellhouse beginning at 11:00 a.m. but no later than 12:00 p.m. This will give us time to find replacements in the event of an emergency. A continental breakfast will be served. Office of Ceremonies staff will remain on site during the ceremony and for 30 minutes following the conclusion of the ceremony.
  •  Report to the faculty entrance at the Dempsey Indoor Practice Field. Exit Dempsey via the south doors and walk over to the Outdoor Practice Field.(See map.)
