Bio-Materials

"If we will only allow that, as we progress, we remain unsure, we will
leave opportunities for alternatives.  We will not become enthusiastic
for the fact, the knowledge, the absolute truth of the day, but remain
always uncertain...  In order to make progress, one must leave the door
  to the unknown ajar.

Health and Engineering in the 21st Century...

Currently 40 million Americans (1 in 7) as well as many other people and animals around the world have arthritic disease, which leads to Osteoarthritis (OA) and mostly affects the hips, knees, or spine.  This little known fact has created an industry in which is becoming evermore popular and important to the lives of debilitated mammals.  They find themselves confronted with a new problem which has been dealt with by misinformed scientists and engineers for decades.  Only in today's society are we correcting their mistakes and expanding the idea of Biological Materials to applications which have never been hypothesized by others...
