Continuous casting Lesson/Tutorial | In this type of casting process molten metal is cast into long continuous strands with rectangular or circular cross-sections. The metal solidifies one piece at a time in a water cooled mold of the desired shape thus forming a continuous strand that can be cut off for future deformation such as rolling and forging. |
