Heat treating

Back to Case study
Heat treating Lesson/Tutorial  To heat a material and then follow it by a cooling process.   During this process, atoms within the metal rearrange, which causes a change in the materials properties.  The positions the atoms rearrange to depends on how high the material is heated, how long it is heated, how fast the material is cooled and the temperature the material is cooled to.
