Back to Case study
Hot working Lesson/Tutorial   This is a process to permanently change the shape of metals and alloys at high temperatures above the re-crystallization temperature.  The high temperatures keep the metal soft and ductile that prevents cracking and fracture so that large deformations and shape changes are possible.
