Unidirectional composite

Unidirectional composite Lesson/Tutorial  A composite that has the fibers all facing in one direction so that they are all aligned parallel to one another.  A unidirectional composite is extremely strong when the force is applied in the direction that the fibers are facing.  It is weaker when the force is applied in the direction perpendicular to the fibers.
