Class gift

What is it?

The Full Time class of 2012 will be graduating next year, but our role for Foster is not over. We are soon to be part of the foster Alumni community. Let's enter this new role by leaving an indelible mark of our visions, values and commitment:

The gift will be your lasting kindness to the classes to come.

Here are a few facts about what class gifts are:

  1. They are what you decide it to be: they represent our class.
  2. They are a critical component for making the Foster School of Business the number one public business school in the country!
  3. The gifts are a tradition at all major business schools

How is it used?

The graph below illustrates the amount raised for every class since the creation of the Class gift by the MBA class of 1997.

The amounts raised have since then, been used for different purposes which are specified in the legend. You can for instance thank the generous donation of the 2006 class has been used during five years intensively: The proud MBA printer.

Our class goals

We have two goals:

- A 95% participation rate

- A total of $100,000 pledged

Great! What do I do next?

First take part in the gift choice. Be involved and vote to choose for your preference in the incoming surveys.

Second, be ready to pledge. Remember that this doesn't have to be a lump sum payment! It should be more like:

$1500 pledge is equivalent to $9.61 per week on three years.

$1000 pledge is equivalent to $6.41 per week on three years.

Third if you have any questions, please email Steve Polucha, our VP of alumni affairs or Sarah Amsbary from the Outreach Office.
