Volunteering
Mission
The Volunteer team looks to support the greater Challenge for Charity mission by connecting volunteers with impactful events for both of our host charities, Boy and Girls Club of King County and Special Olympics of Washington; creating a better community to live in by helping those less fortunate.
Goals
The primary goal of volunteering is to leave a long lasting impact on the greater UW and Seattle Communities. In order to do this, the C4C Volunteer team has published ambitious goals:
- To volunteer 2400 hours towards our sponsored charities (roughly 10 hours per student)
It is the C4C’s team belief that if this milestone is met, the Foster School of Business will be recognized with the heralded Golden Briefcase. In order to help reach this milestone the C4C Volunteer team will:
- Strive to make all volunteer events fun and impactful
- Make the sign up process as easy and visible as possible
