BizComm Our mission is to develop our members' ability to effectively communicate through various media including oral, written, and visual communications while also providing opportunities for our members to practice the craft and develop strong networks to aid in the advancement of their careers. The Technology Business Clubs vision is to not only further its members, but ultimately to further the Foster MBA program as a leader within the technology industry.
C4C Challenge for Charity (C4C), a cornerstone of the UW Foster School of Business MBA experience, demonstrates Foster students’ commitment to civic consciousness.  Each year, UW MBAs donate hundreds of hours and raise tens of thousands of dollars for the Special Olympics Washington (SOWA) and the Boys and Girls Clubs of King County through our Best of the Northwest Auction & Gala.  Since 1986, 10 West Coast MBA programs have competed annually to obtain the coveted “Golden Briefcase” through volunteering, fundraising and participation in a sports weekend. UW has won the golden briefcase for seven out of the past eleven years.

MBA Huddle  A long-standing tradition at the Foster School of Business, the MBA Huddle is the official tailgate of the MBA program. Though obviously centered on Husky home football games, the Huddle is much more than just food, drinks, and football. In fact, the Huddle is probably one of the best opportunities to meet and socialize with members of the Foster community early in the year (before classes even begin!). The Huddle is one of the few events attended by students across all programs (Full-time, Evening, and Executive), alumni, and staff, so these events provide invaluable networking opportunities.

Your MBA is about more than academics or finding a job. Part II strives to enhance the MBA experience through social, cultural, and outdoor activities. Last year as a club we hosted or co-‐hosted 19 events including  the Whistler Trip, 80’s Prom, the Halloween TG, and multiple foosball tournies.

Sports Business Club  Foster Sports Business Club’s (FSBC) mission is to expose MBA students to the business side of professional and collegiate sports through direct interaction with industry professionals. The club will also serve as an ongoing network for students interested in learning more about career opportunities in mainstream or emerging sports industries. Lastly, the club will serve as a social outlet for sports fans
Strategy Club  The Strategy Club’s mission is to bridge the gap between strategic concepts learned in the classroom and real world business problems and solutions. Members will be exposed to challenges businesses are facing and be provided opportunities to refine their problem solving skills.
