Buddy Program
The Global Business Association (GBA) and the MBA Association (MBAA) VP of International Student Affairs have created a program that matches international students and exchange students from partner schools with Foster MBA students. Foster buddies are conversation partners, campus tour guides, local experts, and a friendly face in a new country.
The goals of this program are:

- Provide the opportunity to practice foreign and domestic language skills.
How it works:
- 2nd and 1st year MBAs sign up to be buddies.
- Exchange MBAs, international and domestic first-year MBAs sign up to be buddies.
- GBA officers prepare the Buddy List.
- All participants receive information on how to connect with their buddies.
- Each group schedules activities during which they get to know each other and learn from each other.
- At the beginning of winter quarter, the Buddy List is reviewed and revised
Responsibilities and requirements:
- Anyone can sign up to be a buddy. However GBA members will have priority.
- Each Foster mba studentshall try to meet with their international buddies at least once a month. The students are encouraged to meet as often as possible.
- There are no limits regarding the activities.
