GBA hosts a bunch of events which recur on a yearly basis. Below is a list of those events. Your memberships allows your to attend all of these recurring events + any additional events that GBA hosts. The additional events change year to year, depending on the available opportunities. 1. Flavors of the World: Each quarter GBA takes its members on a journey to try the exotic tastes from a select country. An exchange or international student will lead the journey and provide an information session on their country, forecast the business prospects in the region, and lead a discussion on what it is like to live and work in the country. Members are welcome to come for both dinner as well as networking with international students.

  2. GBA Movie Night: Every other Friday, GBA hosts a private screening of the hottest international films from around the world. Attendance is free for GBA members.

  3. Global Business Night: To provide GBA members the opportunity to connect with business leaders and professionals having international business background or experience, GBA and Global Business Center (GBC) jointly organize a social event “Global Business Night.” We invite GBC board advisors, GBF (Global Business Forum) speakers, and Foster alumni.

  4. Cultural TG’s: In order to provide Foster MBA students a unique exposure to international culture, GBA periodically teams with the MBAA to coordinate a regionally focused TG.  This allows both members and non-members to travel and experience a country’s environment without having to pay for a plane ticket.

  5. Speaker Events: GBA periodically hosts an international executive whom provides insight on various topics of international business. This event allows members to network with both international students as well as executives.

  6. Networking Night: GBA frequently hosts a dinner/networking night allowing GBA members to meet, greet and network. These nights are designed to allow members to relax and get to know each other.
