Fall Case Comp

Here's your chance to win $3,000 and present a marketing recommendation for a real current challenge facing Callison, a local Seattle architecture and design company that serves clients such as Nordstroms, Ann Taylor and Apple. Along with Bridge Partners Consulting, a Seattle based Marketing consulting firm, judges from both firms along with Foster faculty will be judging this event. Below is a summary of the case competition details:
Dates:
- Presentations will occur on Saturday, October 22nd from 9 AM - 3 PM.
- Cases will be released on October 15th by noon. Teams will have until October 22nd at 8:30 AM to prepare their final presentation.
- Registration for the competition will conclude on Wednesday, October 12th at 5 PM. To register, email Eric Shuai and Scott Heinz (cc'ed) with all the members of your team.
- Want some advice on how to succeed in your first case competition? Come to the Strategy Club's event "Case Competition Panel: Advice from Experience 2nd Year Students" on Wednesday, October 5th from 12:30-1:20 PM in Paccar 390.
Details:
- This competition is open to all classes in the full-time and evening programs.
- Teams of 4 individuals should be formed.
- There is no entry fee if you are part of the Foster Marketing Association or Strategy Club. If you are not a member of either club, there will be a $25 entry fee.
- If any 1st year teams would like to partner with a 2nd year student or have a 2nd year coach, please email Scott Heinz and Eric Shuai.
- The winning team will win the $3,000 in prize money. There are no alternate prizes.
- There will be a happy hour directly after the case competition to allow participants to network with judges and other members from our sponsors.
Again, to sign up, please email Eric Shuai and Scott Heinz with the names of each member of your team. The due date for signing up for the case competition is Wednesday, 10/12.
