Welcome to the MBA Exchange Blog

In collaboration with the Foster MBA program, the Global Business Center (GBC) is proud to announce the launch of the MBA Exchange Blog!! This blog will focus on building and developing relationships between domestic students on exchange and exchange students who are in Seattle!

Sharing information about each other’s experiences is a great way to build this relationship. Exchange students are normally a part of the program for a quarter to a year; and their experiences during that time are extremely helpful for the incoming and current students as well as GBC. We are hoping this blog provides a free environment to help students share their and learn from each other’s experiences. If you have any questions on the usage of this blog, please get in touch with me, or the Global Business Center.

Looking forward to meeting everyone in person and reading about your wild journey.

MBA students depart for global study trips

By Jenn Adrien, assistant director for MBA global programs at the Foster Global Business Center.

12 MBA students from the University of Washington Foster School of Business depart in September 2009 for fall quarter study trips from coast to global coast.

Asia, Europe and Africa are the continents; China, Japan, South Korea, France, Denmark, Spain and South Africa are the countries. Students will take business classes, learn new languages and absorb cultures, gaining global business experience and perspectives. Leadership capabilities in the 21st century demands a global understanding and the Foster MBA students will immerse themselves in various cultures as an integral part of their MBA experience.

Follow them as they share stories and experiences from abroad. This is a seasonal blog for Foster MBA students, with active contributors every fall quarter.
