Kimberly Lowell is a Research Coordinator who is gaining valuable clinical research experience before returning to school to earn a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Her primary interest is in grief and post-traumatic growth, particularly among patients who confront life-altering diagnoses or injuries. Previously, she worked in UW’s Department of Rehabilitation Medicine with the Spinal Cord Injury Model System, which seeks to understand and improve the quality of life of individuals living with spinal cord injury.
